About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategically manage the business in your territory to promote the Verathon BladderScan® and CFlex™ product lines.
- Execute sales strategies and techniques to realize sales opportunities identified in the Total Available Market (TAM) segmentation and analysis.
- Generate new business and maintain existing business by understanding the needs, building rapport, and influence customers by delivering presentations, including creative solutions to their problems.
- Manage relationships with key customer stakeholders like Clinical Nursing, C-suite Executives, Administration, and BioMed contacts.
- Generate a high volume of sales activity by in-person prospecting, product evaluations, proposal generation, customer presentations, and negotiations.
- Forecast business potential to ensure sales pipeline supports achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Learn new industry and market information to adapt to shifts in market demand and strategy.
- Engage in strategic business planning and execution and provide accurate and thorough sales reporting to leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years B2B outside sales experience
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Able to meet vendor credentialing requirements for all healthcare systems (including COVID-19 vaccine)
- Must be insurable and have a valid driver's license
- Must reside within territory, northern Los Angeles area preferred (Thousand Oaks, Burbank, etc.)
- Required overnight travel is 3-5 nights/mo for day to day management of territory that includes northern Los Angeles to Monterey
- Required to travel outside assigned territory for annual sales meeting, regional meetings and in person training, as needed
