About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a high performing result-driven team
  • Manage talent by attracting, onboarding, engaging and developing sales staff
  • Provide coaching to Territory Managers on sales skills and strategies
  • Guide Territory Managers in crafting sales solutions that meet customer needs
  • Conduct regular ride along days with Territory Manager’s and provide feedback
  • Develop strategy for Clinical Specialists to collaborate with their team
  • Fully utilize CRM system daily to manage the regional Pipeline, Forecast and Opportunities
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage local IDN agreements
  • Review and monitor all aspects of Sales Agreement terms and conditions
  • Develop an annual business plan with specific target account goals/forecasts
  • Drive year over year growth in sales revenue and profitability
  • Evaluate market opportunities and prioritize with Territory Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years B2B outside sales experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Able to meet vendor credentialing requirements for all healthcare systems (including Covid-19 vaccine)
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must reside within region; Dallas, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio areas preferred
  • Required overnight travel is 5-6 nights per month, on average, to cover territory
  • Required to travel for annual sales meeting, regional meetings and in person training as needed
