About the role
- Strategically manage the business in your territory to promote the Verathon GlideScope ® product line.
- Generate new business and maintain existing business by understanding the needs, building rapport, and influence customers by delivering presentations to customers including creative solutions to their problems.
- Achieve a high volume of sales activity by in-person prospecting, product evaluations, proposal generation, customer presentations, and negotiations.
- Learn new industry and market information that allows you to adapt to shifts in market demand and strategy.
- Engage in strategic business planning and execution and provide accurate and thorough sales reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years B2B outside sales experience
- Able to meet vendor credentialing requirements for all healthcare systems (including COVID-19 vaccine).
- Must be insurable and have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must reside within territory, Charleston or Huntington, WV preferred.
- Required overnight travel is 6 nights per month, on average, to cover territory that includes the majority of West Virginia (excluding Wheeling or the Northeast section of WV) and Southeastern Ohio and Southeastern Kentucky.
- Required to travel outside assigned territory for annual sales meeting, regional meetings and in person training, as needed.
