About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and continuously improve highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AQI’s Software and SaaS platforms
Lead automation initiatives across infrastructure provisioning, deployments, incident response, and operational workflows to improve reliability and engineering velocity
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable safe, repeatable, and efficient software delivery
Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to embed reliability, security, and operability into system design and delivery
Own and enhance observability across critical services, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and service health dashboards
Define and track service objectives and operational metrics, including SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, and use them to drive continuous improvement
Respond to production incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement durable corrective and preventive actions
Support on-call operations and contribute to a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous learning
Advocate for and implement DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native best practices across the organization
Mentor team members and influence infrastructure standards, technical decisions, and platform roadmaps.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, platform engineering, or a related discipline
Strong hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in modern software delivery environments
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages
Practical experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems in cloud-native environments
Ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively across teams, and drive high-quality execution.
