About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AQI’s Software and SaaS platforms
  • Lead automation initiatives across infrastructure provisioning, deployments, incident response, and operational workflows to improve reliability and engineering velocity
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable safe, repeatable, and efficient software delivery
  • Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to embed reliability, security, and operability into system design and delivery
  • Own and enhance observability across critical services, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and service health dashboards
  • Define and track service objectives and operational metrics, including SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, and use them to drive continuous improvement
  • Respond to production incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement durable corrective and preventive actions
  • Support on-call operations and contribute to a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Advocate for and implement DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native best practices across the organization
  • Mentor team members and influence infrastructure standards, technical decisions, and platform roadmaps.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, platform engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in modern software delivery environments
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Practical experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems in cloud-native environments
  • Ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively across teams, and drive high-quality execution.
