Co-develop and assist tax efforts in support of the company’s global strategies while working with the Senior Director of Global Tax Strategy
Initiate and facilitate operating model optimization and rationalization efforts
Partner on post-deal integration and M&A activities
Assist with transfer pricing compliance, documentation (local files and master files), CbCR and notifications, and transfer pricing strategy and controversy
Support intercompany cash flow initiatives including repatriation and intercompany loans in partnership with treasury
Act as a strategic business partner to operating companies regarding tax implications of supply chain changes and operational expansion
Provide international tax advisory, execute due diligence and transaction planning, and advise senior tax management
Manage establishment or elimination of legal entities and related documentation
Manage external advisors, budgets, and timely accruals
Recommend and implement process improvements and technology/automation solutions
Support compliance with tax policies and governance frameworks and coordinate with Tax Reporting & Compliance to reflect transactions in financial reporting
Requirements
8+ years of cross-border structuring experience
Proficient in US /international technical tax rules and regulations involving global tax planning concepts
Pre- and post-acquisition planning including integration
Transfer pricing and supply chain planning
Operational experience in a complex, global enterprise and/or manager-level experience at a major law or accounting firm advising complex global enterprises
Bachelor's degree in Tax and/or Finance/Accounting required
CPA and/or JD required
MST or MBA a plus
Understanding of US tax principles and US tax accounting (current and deferred tax) rules pursuant to ASC740
Demonstrated strength in organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead and coordinate tax analysis in support of strategic initiatives
Commitment to high levels of ethics and integrity
Ability to manage and safeguard highly confidential information with discretion
Preferred: prior experience in financing structuring
Preferred: exposure to cash management practices
Preferred: experience in transfer pricing and/or supply chain optimization
Preferred: familiarity with tax technology solutions (e.g., Alteryx), automation tools, and transformation initiatives
