About the role
- The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining the existing client portfolio and growing it by providing technical, innovative water analysis solutions.
- Through daily field presence, you support clients in addressing environmental challenges.
- Reporting to the Municipal Sales Director, you will join the sales team in a home-office-based position, ideally located between Lyon and Valence.
- Monday: Review opportunities
- Definition of the action plan: 30, 60, 90 days
- Scheduling and organizing client appointments
- Tuesday to Friday mornings: 2 to 3 technical and commercial visits
- Preparation of visit reports using the Salesforce CRM tool
- Handling and/or following up incoming requests with support from our internal teams
- Friday afternoon: Team meeting by videoconference
- Week closing
Requirements
- A higher education degree in a scientific or technical field (chemistry, physical measurement, hydraulics, biology, electrical engineering, …)
- Experience selling solutions or services related to water quality
- A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
- A positive attitude with a drive for performance and competition
- Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment, customer-oriented approach, excellent telephone skills and rigor in following up cases
