About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the architecture, administration, and roadmap of the marketing technology stack
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new tools; manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals
  • Maintain integrations between marketing, sales, and product systems
  • Establish stack governance, user permissions, workflow documentation, and audit cadence
  • Design, build, and refine lead scoring models
  • Own lead lifecycle stage definitions and Marketing-Sales service-level agreements
  • Build and maintain automated lead routing, alerting, and hand-off workflows
  • Monitor conversion rates by stage and source and recommend model adjustments
  • Build multi-touch attribution models and dashboards connecting marketing programs to pipeline, bookings, and ROI
  • Deliver reporting on campaign performance, funnel velocity, and channel efficiency
  • Partner with RevOps and Finance on forecasting, pipeline targets, and budget-to-pipeline analysis
  • Own CRM and marketing automation data quality standards, including deduplication, enrichment, segmentation, and field standardization
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA and manage subscription/consent preferences
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and IT across the customer lifecycle
  • Hire, develop, and manage marketing operations and/or automation specialists
  • Champion experimentation, testing, and continuous process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of marketing operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally within B2B SaaS
  • Deep hands-on expertise with a major marketing automation platform (Pardot strongly preferred) and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Proven experience building and iterating on lead scoring and lifecycle/routing models
  • Strong command of marketing analytics and attribution, with fluency in tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience managing a multi-tool martech stack, including vendor evaluation and integration management
  • Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data warehousing concepts is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in education technology, K-12, or independent school markets is a plus but not required
  • North America based for integration with key stakeholders from RevOps, BizOps and IT
