About the role
- Support local engagement initiatives, team meetings, and recognition programs for commercial teams.
- Promote inclusive culture and team cohesion between field and HQ functions.
- Support performance management cycles (goal setting, check-ins, calibration prep).
- Assist with succession planning, data collection and tracking for key commercial roles.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth hiring for commercial roles.
- Participate in interview panels or provide input on role profiles.
- Identify recurring training needs within the commercial organization (e.g., sales leadership development, communication skills, compliance refreshers).
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to schedule or deliver sessions.
- Partner with Compensation to support annual merit, bonus, and incentive processes.
- Ensure leaders understand guidelines and timelines.
- Help address sales compensation questions and ensure alignment with HR policy.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs that foster positive relationships and a productive work environment.
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances, conducting thorough and impartial investigations in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying updated with changes and advising management on employee relations matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related, relevant discipline.
- 4+ years of experience working in an employee relations or related role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills to address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts.
- Ability to conduct thorough and impartial investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyze complex employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and other relevant HR tools.
