About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications, modules, and solutions, ensuring alignment with business and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, assess, and convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while adhering to best practices.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, MID Servers, and various integration approaches.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and maintain the stability and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
- Oversee and deliver end-to-end platform maintenance, including upgrades and patches, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, process workflows, user manuals, and knowledge base content.
- Ensure all implemented solutions meet security, data protection, and compliance standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with proven experience in complex environments.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, APIs, ServiceNow scripting, and advanced platform functionalities.
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and system integrations.
- Proven ability to design and implement reliable integration solutions with third-party systems using technologies such as REST, SOAP, and JDBC.
- Solid troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis capabilities for resolving complex platform issues.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, team-player, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mandatory ServiceNow certifications (minimum requirement CSA, CAD, CIS).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles, service management frameworks, and associated processes.
