About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate bin collections to maximise route efficiency, minimise downtime and ensure timely service delivery
- Manage driver hours, billing and reporting duties across the site, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Respond proactively to customer issues and resolve operational concerns quickly and effectively
- Act as a key contact for operational queries from the Customer Services Team, Sales Team and customers
- Attend daily end-of-shift meetings with drivers to capture and address incidents, issues and operational feedback
- Facilitate monthly safety toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
- Support drivers in carrying out their duties safely, competently and professionally
- Uphold health, safety, quality, environmental compliance, Chain of Responsibility and performance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced and motivated vehicle logistics professional
- Strong computer skills and confidence navigating relevant systems and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills
- Genuine commitment to health and safety and ability to promote a strong safety culture
- Willingness to undertake a full pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance
