About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow an established portfolio of SME customers across Emerald and the surrounding region
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, secure new business and support customer retention
- Visit customer sites across Emerald and the surrounding region
- Build strong customer relationships and provide tailored waste management solutions
- Prepare quotations and complete online risk assessments
- Accurately manage customer information within internal systems
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to set up customer accounts and activate services seamlessly
- Monitor customer activity, analyse system data and resolve issues
- Work closely with Operations to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional administration skills and outstanding attention to detail
- Experience in customer service, sales support, account management or an emerging sales role
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Customer-first approach
- Confidence working across multiple systems
- Ability to accurately manage customer information
- Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
- Experience within the waste, logistics or transport industries is advantageous but not essential
