About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of SME customers across Emerald and the surrounding region
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, secure new business and support customer retention
  • Visit customer sites across Emerald and the surrounding region
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide tailored waste management solutions
  • Prepare quotations and complete online risk assessments
  • Accurately manage customer information within internal systems
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to set up customer accounts and activate services seamlessly
  • Monitor customer activity, analyse system data and resolve issues
  • Work closely with Operations to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional administration skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, account management or an emerging sales role
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Customer-first approach
  • Confidence working across multiple systems
  • Ability to accurately manage customer information
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
  • Experience within the waste, logistics or transport industries is advantageous but not essential
