About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Tour Conductor, you will lead small groups (maximum 12/16 travelers) on 1–2 week tours across the Mediterranean area.
  • Be the leader of your group, providing clear and engaging information about each destination, sharing your passion for Mediterranean cultures, and creating joyful, memorable experiences for travelers.
  • Be well organized, know your daily itinerary in detail, and ensure smooth tour operations. Always be ready with a Plan B to adapt to unexpected situations.
  • Participate in training sessions and pre-tour briefings to be fully prepared for each tour.
  • Assist travelers with their questions and needs, delivering excellent customer service—even in challenging situations.
  • Prioritize traveler safety and ensure that our local partners meet our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to unforeseen challenges, following established procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passion & Cultural Knowledge: A strong interest in Mediterranean cultures, people, history, and daily life, with a solid understanding of local traditions and contemporary realities.
  • Language Skills: German: Advanced level (C1 or higher) – mandatory, as all tours are conducted in German
  • Experience & Location: not only you are passionate about the country where you need to guide, but you also are knowledgable about its culture, history and traditions.
  • Certifications: You have the necessary permissions and qualifications to work as a Tour Conductor and/or guide, including First Aid certification, CPR, and Heimlich maneuver. (You can still apply if you don't have them yet and we show you how to get those certifications).
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, motivated, and solution-oriented, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Team Spirit: Cooperative, communicative, and professional, with a positive attitude.
