About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate the rework, rebox, and relabel process according to schedule
Coordinate communication and activities between Quality Assurance, Scheduling, and Production
Ensure rework is prepared, available, and delivered daily
Organize and manage Quality Hold areas to reduce inventory damage and expedite usable inventory
Manage drum and tote inventory files
Coordinate with the Branch Transfer Coordinator, Inventory Control Technicians, and 3PLs
Use company systems to obtain information and prepare accurate reports
Monitor and verify AS400 transactions for completed work and inventory control accuracy
Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure relabeled and reboxed items are accurate
Monitor or initiate disposition of expired or unusable rework inventory
Communicate accomplished goals and tasks through daily Word and Excel reports to management

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Excellent math skills
Excellent written English skills
Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and coordinate activities across departments and plant levels
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed repackaging instructions
Computer experience required
Knowledge of AS400, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to perform required physical tasks, including standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds or more with assistance may be required
Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Willingness and ability to work typical 8–12 hour shifts, with possible unscheduled after-hours and weekend work
Ability to work in conditions that may include extreme temperatures, humidity, vibrations, chemicals, fumes, food allergens, confined or dark spaces, and heights exceeding 18 feet, as applicable
