Project Manager

• Responsible for the ongoing management of construction projects across the portfolio
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and contractors to solicit proposals, evaluate them, and make recommendations for selection
• Manage the execution process and coordinate stakeholders (operator, designer, consultants) on large investment front of house and back of the house projects
• Work closely with CapEx consultants to manage accuracy of project timing and spend
• Run weekly or bi-weekly internal update calls
• Attend weekly Owner, Architect, Designer calls across all larger investment projects
• Identify general contractors, prepare bid forms, solicit bids, prepare comparisons, and recommend selections
• Visit job sites weekly, when feasible, depending on project scope and status
• Work with team to create investment strategy for new acquisitions and NNN transitions
• Coordinate and communicate with design and construction teams

Project Manager, Senior Living – CapEx

Accounting Manager

• Oversee accounting, reporting, and analysis for all Ventas insurance programs, including captive insurance arrangements and master insurance programs
• Manage captive insurance close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Facilitate and oversee insurance claim payments and related accounting
• Assist with property-level insurance premium allocations and related analysis
• Ensure accurate accounting and coordination for insurance programs involving third-party operators
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Corporate Risk, and Tax to support compliant and scalable insurance accounting processes
• Coordinate with external brokers, actuaries, administrators, and other third-party service providers
• Strengthen internal controls, improve reserve accuracy, and support audit and compliance requirements

Manager, Insurance Accounting

• Planning and execution of tax structuring efforts related to acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures
• Partner with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Accounting, and Legal to develop and implement tax-efficient transaction structures
• Prepare tax modeling, technical analyses, and written memoranda for complex REIT structures (e.g., RIDEA/TRS, PropCo/OpCo, partnerships, B2B arrangements)
• Support transaction diligence and execution, including review of deal structures and coordination with advisors
• Closely collaborate with Tax Accounting and Tax Compliance to ensure accurate and timely reporting of planning positions
• Assist in monitoring REIT income and asset tests, including tracking intercompany income streams, and income and asset mix considerations
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate regularly with business executives and department leaders
• Manage relationships with outside advisors to ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery of tax, valuation, and related services
• Support preparation of REIT representation letters and supporting analyses, as well as annual certifications and tax-related public disclosures
• Prepare transfer pricing analyses supporting intercompany arrangements; assist with transfer pricing documentation and data gathering
