About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead revenue growth strategy across Venbrook Claims Services’ claims management offerings
- Drive new client acquisition and expand existing relationships
- Build and manage a high-performing business development function
- Own end-to-end sales strategy and go-to-market execution across TPA services, complex claims management, independent adjusting, catastrophe services, and SIU
- Develop and execute sales strategy targeting insurance carriers, MGAs, captives, brokers, self-insured entities, and public sector clients
- Develop annual business development strategy, revenue targets, and go-to-market plan
- Build and execute the pipeline required to achieve growth objectives
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Manage Salesforce pipeline data, forecasting, and reporting
- Develop executive presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
- Represent Venbrook Claims at conferences, associations, trade events, and client forums
- Establish strategic partnerships and referral relationships
- Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing, service offerings, and competitive positioning
- Partner with claims operations on client implementation and ongoing service delivery
- Monitor competitive trends and client needs to inform sales strategy
- Expand existing accounts and deepen client engagement
- Lead RFP and competitive bid responses
- Establish and report on pipeline, win-rate, revenue, and retention metrics
- Partner with marketing on thought leadership, collateral, digital campaigns, and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive business development, sales, or commercial leadership experience in the insurance, claims, or TPA industry
- Minimum 5 years in the claims, TPA, or insurance services industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex, multi-year B2B service agreements
- Established senior-level relationships across insurance carriers, MGAs, captives, and self-insured organizations
- Experience leading and developing business development or sales teams
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong financial acumen, including business-case development, pricing-scenario modeling, and P&L contribution targets
- Ability to travel up to 40-50% to client meetings, industry events, and Venbrook office locations
- Strategic ability to operate at executive level and manage pipeline execution details
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales enablement tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field required
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing a significant book of business or revenue portfolio
- Deep familiarity with claims administration, TPA services, independent adjusting, and specialty claims operations required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Insurance designations such as AIC, ARM, or CPCU a plus
