About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable platform solutions
  • Take ownership of core platform components using Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-native tools
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Atlantis, ClusterAPI, and Crossplane
  • Define and operate the foundation of cloud platforms and deliver resilient container runtime environments
  • Support engineering growth and drive best practices across the organisation
  • Work in a distributed, collaborative Platform Engineering team (CPR) and coordinate with team lead and platform lead

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
  • Familiar with modern cloud-native platform engineering practices
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Atlantis
  • Experience with ClusterAPI, Crossplane, or similar provisioning tools
  • Experience with Docker and container runtimes
  • Experience extending Backstage or developing custom platform solutions
  • Communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional teams
  • Motivated to support and develop engineers at different experience levels
