About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Load, transport, and deliver parts, equipment, and vehicles locally and regionally
  • Ensure items to be picked up or delivered are accurate and undamaged
  • Maintain proper vehicles documentation
  • Log all maintenance, vehicles and travel logs for mileage, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs to ensure the truck is in optimal condition
  • Clean and maintain the rigs as needed
  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Operate equipment and machines such as trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Train to the Velocity process, brand, and sales standards
  • Attend shows and set up marketing displays
  • Represent Velocity by providing professional and courteous in person customer service while delivering vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous professional driving experience
  • Active CDL Class A
  • Clear driving record and criminal history
  • Sales and customer service
