About the role
- Bring machine learning into the build setup pipeline for metal additive manufacturing
- Help set up machine learning models and pipelines on data extracted from builds
- Help create and manage a data repository containing many terabytes for training and analysis
- Extract geometric features from customer parts to feed into ML models
- Develop geometric optimization procedures to reduce surface defects
- Collaborate closely with print process developers and customer-facing teams to support challenging parts
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Math.
- 3+ years of programming experience
- 1+ years of C++ on any platform
- Familiarity with python
- Familiarity with computational geometry concepts
- Good communication skills
- Experience with machine learning is a plus
- Experience with AWS is a plus
