About the role
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, designing solutions, to through to the negotiation, and close.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline across banks, asset managers, corporates, telcos, utilities, and SMEs.
- Turn complex data and analytics into clear business value, helping clients cut time-to-data, reduce risk, and improve performance.
- Partner with Product and Data Engineering teams to bring market insights into new AI and analytics-driven solutions.
- Grow existing accounts through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring long-term client success.
- Track competitors, market trends, and regulations (EBA, ECB, GDPR) to stay ahead.
- Represent the company at key industry events and strengthen our market presence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience in Business/Credit Information, Data Management, or Risk Analytics, ideally with financial institutions.
- Proven success with financial services and corporate clients (telcos, utilities, SMEs).
- Strong knowledge of credit servicing , NPL/UTP management , and related regulations (AnaCredit, IFRS 9, EBA Guidelines).
- A consultative, goal-oriented mindset and confidence managing complex, C-level sales cycles.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set to put forward ideas to expand on products and/or services.
- Exceptional storytelling and analytical skills to create compelling business cases.
- Comfortable working across teams in matrix environments.
- Skilled in MS 365 , CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), data visualization , and cloud platforms .
- Fluent in Italian and English ; other European languages are an advantage.
- Open to frequent travel within Italy and occasional trips abroad.
