About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
Prepare and review financial reports.
Supervise core accounting functions including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll accounting, Fixed assets and capitalization, Expense management, and corporate credit cards.
Design, implement, and monitor internal controls.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA designation (or equivalent).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS and CAD GAAP).
Experience with audit and compliance processes and managing external advisors.
Bilingual (English and French).
