About the role
- Build a team and define processes to produce a profitable, growing book of diverse business opportunities across Velir capabilities
- Serve as trusted partner to clients, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes
- Hunt for and develop new logos and white space in existing accounts in a player-coach approach
- Define and drive Partner Alliances strategy and manage partner relationships and program activity
- Track and report partnership program activity and sales performance; research market segments and target industries
- Collaborate with client services and cross-functional teams to lead business development pursuits and account planning
- Establish new client logos and deepen penetration at existing clients
- Develop strategies for measuring and analyzing sales performance and forecasting
- Drive towards best client outcomes by bringing together complementary alliance partners
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in sales and partner operations
- Strong project and people management skills
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
- Organized and process orientated
- Comfort with CRM and related technologies used to track and manage activities
- Someone who enjoys connecting with potential clients and partners
- Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for identifying new client opportunities and growing the Velir brand
- Experience building and managing relationships with partners and/or clients, and supporting sales pursuits
- Ability to lead and build teams and define processes
