Game Engineer

• Help define and drive the game’s animation style with expressive, solid body mechanics that makes gameplay feel amazing.
• Take ownership of the full gameplay animation process, from rough prototypes to polished game performances.
• Drive in-engine development with excellent engine competency, including animation systems, state machines and other procedural animation techniques.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to explore new ideas, solve tricky gameplay challenges, and push what’s possible through animation.
• Document tools and workflows.
• Mentor other animators, offering feedback, guidance, and support.

Senior Gameplay Animator

3D Artist

• Build high definition, game ready models, materials, and world geometry.
• Create large scale assets that work at distance and up close.
• Hard surface modeling
• Terrain and Foliage
• Populate and decorate environments with a strong understanding of composition/layout skills.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, producers, and game designers to ensure work is created accurately and on time.
• Function autonomously and remain organized for the lifespan of the project.
• Comfortable and confident working with game designers, and programmers to ensure art assets are high-quality, support the artistic direction of our projects, and are fully optimized on target platforms.
• Collaborate with the Art Outsource Manager by generating aesthetic and technical feedback for 3D outsource team.
• Engage in R&D efforts on new techniques to implement into our production pipeline.
• Receive feedback and modify work based on direction.

Senior Environment Artist

• Brainstorming new game mechanics with the team
• Jumping into game code/script to implement
• Modifying the level editor to support a new game mechanic
• Presenting a rough version of a new mechanic to the team and gathering feedback
• Taking a rough version of a game mechanic to a debugged, optimized, and shippable state

Gameplay Programmer

• Half coder, half artist: translate between art and tech to maximize tool usage
• Create, shape, and lead artistic direction with an innovative development team
• Collaborate closely with Art Director, Game Designer, and Studio Creative Leaders to define look and feel of early-stage prototypes
• Experiment with different visual styles
• Guide artists, engineers, designers, and QA toward best visuals for the project
• Use various programs to facilitate high quality and stylized optimized in-game assets
• Act as sole Technical Artist on a project and problem solve as needed
• Establish processes and pipelines and mentor other artists
• Contribute to peer reviews, troubleshoot, problem solve, and give and receive constructive feedback
• Work autonomously and self-direct tasks while handling multiple projects and context switching
• Identify production bottlenecks and contribute to internal art tools library at project and studio level to build efficient workflows

Technical Artist

• Set up gameplay systems and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
• Document workflows for other animators to follow.
• Develop a strong animation style, showcasing solid body mechanics for interesting and dynamic gameplay.
• As a game developer, ensuring your animations will look and feel amazing while playing the game.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement animations in engine.
