About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the real-time execution of the first and middle-mile transportation network during overnight shifts
Manage a team of coordinators responsible for monitoring active loads
Resolve disruptions and execute against tight service level expectations
Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues
Adjust routing, capacity, and recovery plans dynamically
Monitor and drive performance metrics such as On-Time Departure (OTD) and On-Time Arrival (OTA)
Identify recurring operational issues and partner with leadership to improve processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
2+ years of experience in Leadership
Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Experience overseeing active transportation networks
Demonstrated ability to triage issues quickly
Ability to interpret operational data and translate into actionable decisions
Strong ability to identify risks before they materialize
Experience managing and developing coordinators or operators
Familiarity with TMS platforms and real-time tracking tools preferred
