About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and develop new Co-Op, strategic ecommerce, and partner program opportunities that align with Vego Garden's wholesale growth strategy.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of distributors and strategic partners, ensuring consistent business growth and account performance.
  • Develop annual business plans and growth strategies tailored to each assigned account.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional opportunities, and partnership agreements that support long-term business objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to identify opportunities and recommend actionable business strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to successfully execute product launches, promotions, and account initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving business issues and ensuring timely communication.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain and administer Authorized Distribution Agreements, ensuring compliance and ongoing competitiveness.
  • Represent Vego Garden at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to increase brand awareness and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and account documentation to support effective business planning.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging market opportunities to help shape future sales strategies.
  • Uphold Vego Garden's commitment to professionalism, premium service, and long-term customer success.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, wholesale sales, strategic partnerships, or business development.
  • Experience working with wholesale distributors.
  • Proven ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships while driving sustainable business growth.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop account strategies, annual business plans, and growth initiatives.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer performance to make informed business recommendations.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States.
  • Knowledge of the lawn and garden, outdoor living, or related industries is preferred.

  • The salary range is $75,000-$90,000.
  • Bonus and commission eligible.
