About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own vega.io end to end: design, build, ship, and iterate
Build and maintain the component library and BrandOS living design system with the design team
Manage and evolve CMS content through Directus with marketing and content teams
Translate brand direction into interactive web experiences, including scroll-driven storytelling, ROI calculators, product tours, and campaign microsites
Help shape the brand’s evolution on the web alongside the design team
Add motion through subtle interactions, micro-animations, and larger interactive moments
Own deployments via Git and Vercel
Keep the site fast, accessible, and production-ready
Help define how design and web work together as the function scales

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in design and/or frontend development
Portfolio demonstrating design sensibility and ability to build what you design
Experience using modern frameworks such as Astro, Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt, or similar
Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
Comfortable using Figma and designing what you build
Comfortable working in Git, owning deployments, and shipping independently
Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Directus or similar
Motion code experience with GSAP, Framer Motion, or Lottie
Understanding of performance, accessibility, and responsive craft
Nice-to-have: background working alongside marketing, brand, or content teams
Nice-to-have: experience building a design system or component library from scratch
Nice-to-have: canvas-based development or interactive games experience
Nice-to-have: cybersecurity, developer tools, or B2B SaaS experience
Nice-to-have: React and/or Tailwind experience
Nice-to-have: familiarity with SEO best practices and tag management tools such as GTM
Nice-to-have: interest in pixel art
