About the role
- Coordinate with departments to develop products and services aligned with the business strategy.
- Define and prioritize product requirements and ensure the product meets user and business needs.
- Act as a stakeholder representative and work closely with the development team.
- Analyze, interpret, and produce system documentation and information, understanding mapped processes and business rules.
- Map, refine, and document business rules, functional and non-functional requirements, and user stories related to the product.
- Contextualize features and systems with respect to processes and business rules.
- Guide the analysis, modeling, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead problem understanding and solution definition.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the roadmap, and manage and refine the development backlog for the project/product.
- Ensure the development team understands the product backlog items.
- Facilitate the rituals of the methodology used for product development.
- Track the project's burndown.
- Ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned on deadlines and deliveries.
- Monitor, validate, and report on deliveries.
- Report project information to the Operations Management and/or Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong analytical skills for system and business specifications.
- Clear, objective, and organized verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to assess delivery quality by validating specifications.
- Experience monitoring and controlling key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Certifications (preferred).
- Intermediate/Advanced English (preferred).
- Knowledge of GIS (preferred).
- Experience with prototyping tools (preferred).
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Vega's products and services (IT or Agribusiness) (preferred).
- Familiarity with ideation, specification, prototyping, and system validation techniques (preferred).
- Process mapping (preferred).
- Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum framework) (preferred).
- Data analysis (preferred).
- Knowledge of CAR (Cadastro Ambiental Rural - Rural Environmental Registry) (preferred).
