About the role

Lead the architectural vision for next-gen infrastructure on AWS, providing expertise in cloud architecture and design patterns
Drive DevOps best practices and implement a robust Infrastructure as Code strategy using tools like Terraform and Ansible
Build and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments across Development, QA, Stage, and Production
Ensure platform reliability focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness
Recommend and implement architectural enhancements, security policies, and new methodologies
Lead the migration of the platform and create a new, scalable environment from scratch
Own tooling and CI/CD pipeline in a startup-like setting, balancing performance, cost, and reliability

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role
Extensive experience designing and implementing deployment architectures in AWS (VPC, EKS, EC2, IAM, S3)
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Skilled with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Ansible)
Expert in GitLab and experience with CI tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
Solid understanding of monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch is a plus)
Proficiency with scripting languages like Bash or Groovy (nice to have)
Experience with artifact management solutions (Nexus, ECR) (nice to have)
Familiarity with code validation and linting tools (Sonar) (nice to have)
Must be in PST or MST time zone
