About the role

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Development on technical design and problem solving
  • Own all aspects of implementation for features from design to development, deployment to production, and support and maintenance
  • Build software that scales for heavy use and can evolve with new features and capabilities
  • Quickly break down complex problems into potential solutions, accounting for knowns and unknowns
  • Advise product leadership and influence technical direction
  • Mentor and guide engineers at all levels; define and evangelize best practices and coding standards
  • Perform extensive code reviews

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software development experience
  • Extensive experience developing enterprise SaaS cloud applications
  • Proven track record of building high volume products at scale
  • Hands-on development experience with Java, Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, AspectJ, Messaging, Solr, Lucene
  • Drive and flexibility to roll up your sleeves and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Proven mentoring experience and extensive code review experience
