💰 $90,000 - $135,000 per year
About the role
- Conduct and support privacy impact assessments and data transfer impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks and ensure compliance with global data protection regulations
- Support efforts to identify, classify, and document personal data processed by the organization, including data flows and retention schedules
- Manage and coordinate responding to and fulfilling data subject requests in a timely and compliant manner
- Assist in assessing third-party vendor privacy practices and ensuring contractual compliance with privacy requirements
- Contribute to the development and delivery of privacy training and awareness programs for employees
- Assist in the management, administration and improvement of Veeva’s privacy program, including policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Research regulatory matters and work with attorneys and stakeholders to build, expand or improve compliance programs
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and EU data privacy laws
- Experience conducting privacy impact assessments, data transfer impact assessments and data mapping
- Experience administering DSAR processes
- Experience completing DPIAs and DTIAs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Nice to Have: Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)
- Nice to Have: Experience with OneTrust privacy management software
- Nice to Have: Experience in the life sciences industry
