About the role

  • Work on challenging projects to build a new platform using modern technologies such as ReactJS, Redux, react-router, Server-Side Rendering, Node.js, Webpack 2, etc.
  • Estimate development tasks, identifying risks, required provisions, and process constraints.
  • Conduct regular code reviews with the team.
  • Participate in merge requests and review peers' contributions.
  • Work with an agile mindset and MVP approaches that accommodate future business requirements.
  • Develop front-end solutions that scale and can be integrated into a micro front-end ecosystem.
  • Conduct technical interviews with developers applying to join VeepeeTech.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in web development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks/technologies such as React, Redux, Next.js, Webpack, etc.
  • Experience with RESTful principles and APIs.
  • Experience building applications within a microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Node.js and the Express framework.
  • Experience with Server-Side Rendering using React and react-router.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, and Chai.
  • Proactive and dynamic mindset, motivated to grow within the tech team.
  • Fluent in English.
