About the role

  • Reporting to the Stock Accounting Manager, you will actively participate in the financial monitoring of Veepee's inventory.
  • Ensure the accounting close process for inventory.
  • Manage monthly accounting closes.
  • Prepare audited semi-annual and annual closes, including all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Continuously improve closing processes (timeliness, accounting quality).
  • Document processes.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory.
  • Validate, from a finance perspective, projects affecting inventory.
  • Calculate and analyze provisions for inventory write-downs/impairment.
  • Implement an inventory dashboard to improve operational and financial management of stock.
  • Communicate financial information regarding inventory with Veepee's various Business Units.
  • Report to Executive Management on inventory developments.

Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • You are comfortable with Excel and Google Sheets; prior experience with SAP is a plus.
  • You are comfortable working in English.
  • You demonstrate rigor and strong organizational skills.
  • You are results- and problem-solving-oriented and possess analytical skills.
  • You are recognized for strong interpersonal skills.
