About the role
- Build Relationships That Matter: Cultivate and nurture lasting connections with key customer advocates, transforming them into champions for Veeam.
- Create a Portfolio of Stars: Develop a strategic portfolio of high-profile customer brands that can be celebrated in case studies, testimonials, and at industry events.
- Lead the Charge on Advocacy: Manage and maintain a database of public and private references, including advocates for peer-to-peer and NDA engagements, to drive value for sales and marketing.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, engineering, and alliances to identify standout customer stories and grow the advocate pool.
- Showcase Success Stories: Coordinate customer interviews, craft compelling narratives, and oversee the review and approval process for advocacy assets like success stories, quotes, and videos.
- Drive Impactful Campaigns: Leverage customer voices in marketing campaigns, PR, AR, and field activities to strengthen brand trust and credibility.
- Track and Optimize: Monitor the use of advocacy assets across all formats, ensuring they deliver maximum impact for Veeam’s brand and sales initiatives.
- Produce High-Quality Content: Oversee supplier contracts and manage the creation of professional video testimonials and other advocacy assets.
- Be the Trusted Advisor: Serve as a go-to resource for sales and marketing teams, helping them harness the power of customer advocacy to support their goals.
- Innovate and Grow: Lead operational efficiency projects and explore new ways to elevate Veeam’s customer advocacy program.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or a combination of education and experience that proves you’re ready to shine).
- Strong understanding of the roles played by alliance partners, distributors, system integrators, etc. in the channel market highly preferred
- Experience managing a customer advocacy program is required
- Proven ability to manage advocacy pipelines, hit deadlines, and exceed quarterly goals to drive business growth.
- Industry Expertise: Marketing experience in the B2B technology space, especially within customer marketing—this is your chance to turn your knowledge into action.
