About the role
- Lead technical discovery with both acquiring and acquired company stakeholders to uncover integration or migration needs.
- Analyze and map technical infrastructure, systems, and data flows of both companies to identify integration points and redundancies.
- Facilitate application rationalization, identifying which platforms to consolidate, retire, or migrate post-merger.
- Design process and data migration strategies; manage execution and the migration and merger projects
- Create detailed runbooks and technical documentation for all migration and integration processes.
- Partner with business leaders to define program objectives, scope, priorities, and success metrics across projects and workstreams.
- Identify stakeholders, secure resources, and coordinate cross-functional technical teams to deliver value and resolve blockers.
- Build and manage program plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
- Drive clear, consistent multi-level stakeholder communication, including decisions, priorities, status and health reporting, and risks.
- Ensure successful delivery, rollout, and adoption through effective change management while measuring outcomes against KPIs.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of enterprise technology environments, system architecture, and software design principles
- Advanced knowledge of the full product development lifecycle, including deployment and integration
- Ability to collaborate closely with IT engineers at a technical level
- Experience with testing methodologies and tools to ensure quality deliverables
- Strong analytical skills, including reading and interpreting relational data
- Ability to read, write, and translate technical and business requirements; experience creating process flow diagrams
- Solid understanding of cross‑functional business processes (sales, marketing, quote‑to‑cash, finance, etc.)
- Being self-starter who proactively identifies and mitigates project risks
- Strong project and program management background, including Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and PMP certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; independent-thinker mindset with the ability to stay focused on high level goals and outcomes
