About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run Databricks Unity Catalog and Atlan as the technical and business-facing backbone of certification, domain by domain
Establish continuous, agent-driven scoring behind certified data, including a live trust score and automated action
Own executive intelligence reporting on the current trustworthiness of Veeam's data
Register and govern AI agents consuming Veeam's data
Use agentic tools daily to accelerate work
Align business domain and data owners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR on defined standards
Build certified Bronze-to-Silver-to-Gold data pipelines domain by domain
Make certification, lineage, continuous scoring, and named ownership operational

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, data science, information systems, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of experience in enterprise data governance, data management, or GTM
Hands-on experience running enterprise data governance in production
Demonstrated track record driving a data and AI governance program end to end
Working knowledge of Databricks Unity Catalog and a business-facing catalog layer such as Atlan
Daily use of Claude, Claude Code, or a comparable agent as a core working tool
Ability to set guardrails for how others use an AI agent
Ability to influence organizational direction and shape senior-leader decisions as an individual contributor
Bonus: Direct experience with v-Power or comparable CRM extension platforms in a Sales Operations or Revenue Intelligence context
Bonus: Demonstrated change management experience
Bonus: Depth in AI asset governance, including model registration, MCP service governance, and agentic system access control
Bonus: Experience with Microsoft Purview for sensitivity classification in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Bonus: SOC 2 Type II audit experience
Bonus: Experience in a PE-backed or pre-IPO technology company
Bonus: Background in data mesh, data product operating models, or MDM
Bonus: External contributions in data platform, governance, or AI infrastructure, and familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK frameworks
