About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, implement and oversee the Institute's IT strategy
- Develop and steer the information systems (IS) strategy aligned with the Institute’s scientific, technological and economic priorities
- Identify relevant technological trends and anticipate their impact on activities
- Provide support to experimental platforms and scientific teams
- Ensure the operational continuity and maintenance of the IS
- Manage outsourcing contracts and monitor SLAs
- Enforce the IT security policy
- Prepare investment budgets and maintain the IS mapping
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from an engineering school or Master 2 in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent
- More than 10 years' experience in a highly technical environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft environments and hybrid infrastructures (Windows and Linux operating systems)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management and IT governance
- Experience with data classification and data lifecycle; AI use cases
- Familiarity with GitLab and DevOps for deployment orchestration
- Experience managing service providers, budgeting, project management and change management
- Ability to communicate with technical, scientific and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in technical English
