About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support customer, partner, and reseller transactions, including MPAs, MSAs, SLAs, data processing agreement, reseller agreements, and related commercial documentation
- Support vendor, procurement, and supply chain contracting, including hardware, components, services, logistics, and technology-related arrangements
- Advise operations and product teams on legal and commercial issues related to product development, delivery, support, customer requirements, and sales
- Develop, maintain, and improve contract templates, playbooks, and legal workflows
- Provide practical, risk-based legal guidance to internal stakeholders
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business
- Assist with ad hoc legal matters, special projects, and initiatives that support the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admitted to a state bar
- 4+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience negotiating commercial agreements
- Experience with issues related to hardware products, software, technology licensing, and SaaS
- Knowledge of corporate, commercial, privacy, and intellectual property law
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical business advice
- Collaborative and able to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently
