About the role
- Contribute to end-to-end payroll (monthly runs, change/variance checks, reporting)
- Proactive quality assurance: identify discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions, and document thoroughly
- Support the implementation of a modern, scalable payroll solution for our VDK colleagues in Germany — from vendor selection to go-live
- Prepare and develop the HR budget with a focus on personnel costs
- Draft and prepare employment contract documents for VDK colleagues in Germany and for managing directors
- Actively contribute to clear, modern HR policies and fair compensation structures for Germany, as well as to HR-wide projects
Requirements
- 2–3 years' professional experience in payroll or similar HR roles
- Ideally completed the IHK certificate course “Fachkraft für Entgeltabrechnung” (Specialist for Payroll Accounting) or an equivalent qualification
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Some experience with payroll systems such as DATEV and Paychex
