About the role

  • You advise applicants from industry and academia on business and administrative matters related to funding applications.
  • In addition, you independently manage ongoing funded projects with regard to the proper use of research funds.
  • You review and evaluate financing concepts as well as investment and liquidity plans.
  • To maintain a clear overview of the financial activities of the research projects, you are responsible for project controlling and carry out regular reporting.
  • You work closely and collaboratively with colleagues from the research funding unit.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration or a related field.
  • You enjoy working with numbers and know how to read balance sheets, investment plans and liquidity plans.
  • Thanks to your excellent ability to set priorities and organize yourself independently, you are able to manage multiple funding projects concurrently.
  • Your project documentation is structured and transparent so that it is easily accessible to colleagues.
  • You appreciate both personal exchange by phone and the flexibility and written clarity of e‑mail when communicating with representatives from academia, industry, politics and public administration.
