About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment
Perform installation, validation and maintenance on assigned equipment
Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for customer-related concerns including installs
Own customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution
Ensure equipment meets established safety and performance standards through rigorous testing and quality control procedures
Assist in the procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of new technology for delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s in Engineering or related field
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the repair and/or maintenance of electronic equipment and/or medical equipment associated with Imaging
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the repair and/or maintenance of Advanced Imaging and/or Radiation Oncology equipment involving at least 2 major imaging contracted vendors utilized at VCUHS
Full understanding of electrical principles and theory
Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications and understanding of computer functions
