About the role
- Partner with the application team while working collaboratively with our customers
- Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases to ensure optimum performance
- Assist with design and performs builds that are appropriate for users’ needs
- Perform project management for Pharmacy technology initiatives by developing, managing, and driving accountability to meet established goals and deadlines
- Communicate risks and issues, while providing status updates
Requirements
- Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
- Three years to six years hospital pharmacy experience
- Epic Willow Inpatient Certification and experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the inpatient environment and clinic based operations, procedures/functions and the relationships between them and the hospital
- Knowledge of physician practice/healthcare professional services, billing requirements, hospital administration and/or processes
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other professional staff when discussing drugs and drug related problems
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program preferred
