About the role
- The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader and facilitator for Agile development teams, ensuring Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) are effectively applied to deliver high-quality solutions and predictable outcomes.
- This role partners with product owners, developers, and stakeholders across departments to remove impediments, foster team accountability, and drive continuous improvement.
- The Scrum Master also plays a key role in maintaining transparency, alignment, and process consistency across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proven ability to apply them.
- Certification preferred (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with software development, integration, or IT service delivery.
- MSP (Managed Service Provider) or enterprise IT environment experience a plus.
- Experience with Agile tools (Azure DevOps/TFS, Jira, Confluence, or similar).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams toward self-organization and high performance.
