About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive top line growth, profitability, retention with existing partners and new agency appointments.
  • Travel extensively throughout GA, NC, SC to meet with prospective and current agents, delivering product training, marketing support, and relationship management.
  • Identify high-potential agencies aligned with Vault’s high-net-worth market and onboard them through a consultative sales approach.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and service teams to ensure seamless agent and client experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and agency performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent Vault at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or agency management within the P&C insurance industry, preferably in the high-net-worth segment.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and distribution channels.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with independent agents and brokers.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role with frequent travel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
