About the role

  • Identify, gather and structure business requirements and associated risks/opportunities
  • Translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications, taking into account IT and regulatory constraints
  • Collaborate with technical teams and architects to ensure the coherence of proposed solutions and integrations (APIs, microservices, Cloud, etc.)
  • Assess operational and technological risks as well as dependencies related to requested changes
  • Advise stakeholders on business and technical alternatives (internal and/or external)
  • Lead scoping workshops with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors and partners)
  • Facilitate communication between business units (product owners, business leads, process and data owners), project teams and technical teams
  • Participate in functional testing and UAT phases, ensuring coverage of critical requirements and end-to-end traceability
  • Contribute to document governance (traceability, compliance, reporting, tracking audit recommendations)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst with a technical orientation, ideally in the Swiss insurance/financial sector
  • Advanced professional education (ETH, UAS, HEC, university or equivalent) with a focus on IT/management
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business and regulatory processes in Swiss insurance or the financial sector (FINMA, Swiss Data Protection Act (LPD), GDPR, etc.)
  • Versatile experience: business analysis, solution integration, collaboration within agile teams (product owners, developers, QA/test, Scrum Master) and participation in UAT
  • Understanding of overall IT architecture, data security, access controls and protection of critical systems, as well as integration challenges (APIs, microservices, etc.) and key Cloud-related considerations
  • Strong proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) combined with solid knowledge of common agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Certification (IIBA/BABOK or PMI-BA) is an asset
  • Native French speaker; proficiency in English (spoken and written, minimum B2); German is a strong asset
