About the role

  • Maximize value by prioritizing features and enhancements according to their business impact and strategic objectives, while acting as the primary point of contact for gathering requirements, estimating costs and business benefits
  • Define and communicate the product vision to stakeholders, working closely with the Solutions teams (Solutions Manager - RSO, Business Analysts - BA, Developers, Testers)
  • Manage and prioritize the Document Management backlog according to expected value, taking into account business needs, the technological landscape, analysis/development capacity, and integration topics and cross-dependencies under the coordination of the RSO
  • Collaborate and actively participate in agile ceremonies to ensure a common understanding of the backlog and priorities by the Solutions teams, as well as awareness of constraints (technological, capacity, budgetary, ...)
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, notably by defining and regularly tracking KPIs related to value creation
  • Include product evolutions in Vaudoise Assurances’ release plan, in collaboration with the Solutions and Transverse Delivery teams
  • Manage risks and resolve issues, including identifying and assessing risks, issues, dependencies and constraints, and escalating matters when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner, with a technical orientation and ideally experience in the insurance sector
  • PSPO certification is a definite asset
  • Higher education degree (EPF, HES, HEC, UNI or other equivalent) in Computer Science or a technical field with an IT component
  • Good knowledge and understanding of market document management solutions (OpenText, Hyland, IBM FileNet, Kofax, M-Files, MS SharePoint, etc.), with the ability to understand business needs, drive functional evolutions (recognition, transformation, archiving, etc.) and work closely with technical teams (architects, BAs, developers, testers, etc.) to ensure integration and solution performance
  • Strong leadership and a high sense of ownership to structure, make trade-offs and drive complex topics forward in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Understanding of overall IT architecture, data security concerns, access and protection of critical systems, as well as integration topics (APIs, microservices, etc.) and key Cloud-related issues
  • Excellent command of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) combined with strong knowledge of common agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • French (native) and English (spoken and written, minimum B2 level)
