About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The New Business Development Advisor reports to the Director of Sales, Events but also works closely with the Division VPs for Varsity All Star Fashion.
- Responsible for assigned all star accounts and the sales success of the Small Gym Summit Championship.
- Increase Varsity All Star revenue across assigned event and fashion accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities and at-risk events; strengthen customer relationships to secure and expand team participation.
- Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calling, to generate and expand revenue opportunities for Varsity All Star events.
- Re-engage Non-Varsity and Non-USASF customers to bring them back into the Varsity event ecosystem.
- Monitor and report on competitor events and industry trends.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales calls and account activity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience.
- Strong familiarity with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- High proficiency with Salesforce.
- Proven customer service and sales experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to effectively resolve unexpected customer challenges.
- Capacity to assist with leadership and sales training for the Advisor team.
