About the role

  • Take responsibility for local P&L structures, comment on results and derive targeted improvement opportunities
  • Bring your experience to continuously develop the Accounting and Finance department
  • Ensure correct accounting in accordance with HGB and guarantee the timely preparation and submission of financial reporting to the parent company in line with IFRS
  • Provide reliable decision support for management through tailored management reporting, solid analyses and precise KPI reporting
  • Manage all financial matters and monitor net financial positions
  • Support the annual financial statement under HGB together with external advisors
  • Work closely with the international group and actively shape group-wide finance and transformation projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and IFRS
  • Proven experience in preparing financial reports, budgeting and forecasting
  • Proven experience in management reporting and KPI analysis
  • Successful collaboration with external advisors and authorities
  • Strong analytical thinking and a high sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external partners
  • Appreciation for cooperative teamwork
  • High level of personal responsibility and willingness to actively drive changes in accounting and reporting
  • Business-fluent German and English
