About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a localized team member, responsible for communicating with a cohort of J-1 Cultural Exchange Teachers, school site administrators, and relevant stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ITES teachers and school administrators
  • Support J-1 processes before, during and after the teachers’ program
  • Liaise with local resources to ensure teachers receive comprehensive service
  • Maintain effective documentation of classroom visits and teacher communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of practical technology usage and immersion
  • Ability to work with highly diverse populations
  • Ability to assist ITES teachers in providing appropriate educational opportunities to children
  • Ability to develop and sustain productive working relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and assignments
  • Driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
