About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary procurement and supply chain partner to Data Center Operations, Regional COOs, operating leadership, and site leadership
  • Translate operational requirements into commercial frameworks, supplier strategies, and service delivery models
  • Support global and regional procurement and supply chain-enabled data center operating services
  • Manage global and regional service contracts for maintenance, facilities management, security, technical, and related operating services
  • Structure, negotiate, and govern global master service agreements and regional contracts with SLAs, escalation structures, and accountability mechanisms
  • Balance global standardization with regional flexibility across multi-region, high-availability environments
  • Implement commercial strategies optimizing cost, supplier performance, and risk allocation
  • Lead supplier performance governance, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Strategic Business Reviews
  • Define and track supplier KPIs for availability, uptime, response and recovery times, SLA compliance, quality, and service delivery
  • Drive supplier continuous improvement using performance data, benchmarking, and contractual levers
  • Manage procurement execution for repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance services
  • Execute critical spare parts strategies, including inventory, stocking, supplier frameworks, and rapid fulfillment
  • Ensure 24/7 emergency response capability and support major incidents through supplier mobilization and contractual enforcement
  • Embed customer-facing SLAs into supplier contracts and service delivery frameworks
  • Manage procurement execution for data center security services, including physical security and technical security systems
  • Manage equipment end-of-life programs covering recycling, disposal, reuse, and refurbishment
  • Govern asset tracking, registries, configuration management, and maintenance/service history integration
  • Support expansions, capital works, capacity expansions, equipment upgrades, and retrofits with minimal disruption to live operations
  • Lead continuous improvement across supplier performance, commercial frameworks, and service delivery models
  • Partner with Operations, COOs, site leadership, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Security, Finance, Asset Management, service providers, and OEMs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, and infrastructure services
  • Proven experience managing global service agreements and supplier performance frameworks, including QBRs and SBRs
  • Strong track record supporting operations organizations in uptime-critical environments
  • Deep understanding of data center systems and lifecycle service requirements
  • Experience operating in multi-region, high-availability environments
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into procurement execution plans, commercial frameworks, supplier strategies, and service delivery models
  • Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and manage complex global and regional service contracts
  • Experience managing supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, benchmarking, performance data, and contractual levers
  • Strong understanding of repair and maintenance, preventative maintenance, critical spares, emergency response, and service readiness in mission-critical environments
  • Experience supporting procurement strategies for data center security services, including physical security manpower and technical security systems
  • Knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, end-of-life planning, recycling, reuse, refurbishment, sustainability, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience enabling or governing asset tracking, lifecycle visibility, configuration management, and service history systems
  • Strong commercial acumen optimizing cost, performance, risk allocation, and total cost of ownership
  • Ability to balance global standardization with regional flexibility across complex operating models
  • Proven ability to serve as a strategic execution partner to Operations, Regional COOs, site leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Travel required up to 30%, potentially increasing over time
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
