About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Structure and execute wholesale and retail power transactions across North American markets
Develop and implement transmission strategies including point-to-point, NITS, and other service arrangements
Support structuring of agreements such as EEIs, WSPP Schedule C, tolling agreements, HRCOs, and capacity products
Evaluate power market dynamics including pricing, congestion, and regulatory frameworks
Support development of behind-the-meter and alternative infrastructure strategies
Analyze transmission constraints, interconnection risks, and queue positions
Engage with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, regulators, and transmission providers on large load integration
Partner with internal stakeholders on long-term energy and infrastructure strategy
Support negotiation of complex commercial energy agreements
Coordinate across development, legal, infrastructure, and executive teams to deliver solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Energy, or related field
4–8 years of experience in power markets, structured transactions, or energy origination
Experience with transmission products (point-to-point, NITS) and grid processes
Familiarity with structured agreements such as EEI and WSPP
Exposure to development processes including interconnection and utility engagement
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to assess market dynamics and develop strategic solutions
Experience working with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, or energy counterparties
