About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the impactful Foundations roadmap.
Collaborate closely with other product teams.
Directly drive the Vanta data platform strategy.
Guide the hard tradeoffs between feature development and platform stability.
Enable and evangelize for the data platform.
Work directly with customers to understand unique platform requirements.
Look ahead 12-18 months to build a platform that scales with Vanta.
Create and measure key metrics and results for platform investments.
Support an existing team of engineers and tech leads focused on the data platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Have 6+ years supporting platform teams, with a preference for data platforms or data products.
Come having built 0->1 platforms.
Balance independence and strong communication.
Have strong frameworks to build complex platforms with clear sequencing, goals, and progress tracking.
Be intensely curious and collaborative.
Be technically sharp with data platform topics.
Be outcome oriented.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work.
